The Eagle River Coalition is committed to protecting the Eagle River Watershed and 55 miles of the Upper Colorado River through restoration projects, education programs, and water quality monitoring efforts.

This organization believes that in order to protect the resources and landscapes around us, we need to experience them. As both an organization and as individuals, we are fortunate to have crossed paths with people, both in this community and beyond it, who have encouraged us to experience the outdoors.

Like the natural processes and ecosystems around us, we are connected to and impacted by those around us, and the people who inspire us change the very fabric of our lives.

Whether it is by inspiring curiosity about our landscapes, experiencing the rush of adrenaline when pursuing a passion for outdoor recreation together, or leading by example when faced with a contentious decision regarding conservation, we are inspired by the work of those who may no longer be with us.
