Eagle River Coalition’s (ERC) mission is to advocate for the health of the Upper Colorado and Eagle River basins through research, education, and projects. The Coalition strives to protect and enhance the high-quality natural, scenic, and economic values that our rivers and tributaries provide to the citizens, visitors and wildlife of the Eagle River and Colorado River watersheds located in Eagle County.

Eagle River Coalition is hiring an Executive Director to lead this organization in fulfilling our mission, with emphasis on deepening community relationships and increasing the impact of restoration. The Executive Director oversees the strategic growth and ongoing operational efficiency of our programs and staff by providing executive direction on all program strategy, compliance, quality assurance, and organization administration. The Executive Director is tasked with directing staff through the successful implementation of multiple restoration projects and initiatives on the horizon, including the development of an endowment fund.
This seasoned leader must have experience with the development and implementation of a fundraising plan, setting ambitious fundraising goals, and meeting or exceeding those goals. Established relationships with local and regional community groups are a plus, and comfort in building relationships with funders and project partners (individuals, businesses, federal, state and local governments, etc.) is critical.
