Join the Eagle River Coalition for the Eagle Mine Tour – an exploration of one of Eagle County’s iconic sites.
This is an opportunity to visit the 235-acre site and learn about its lasting impacts on the Eagle River and downstream communities. During the tour, participants will learn about the Superfund site’s history and legacy around heavy metal contamination from past mining activities, as well as visit the nearby wastewater treatment plant.
