Temperature Alerts

Recent summer seasons have seen low streamflows and high water temperatures. During these times, it is up to us as river users to adjust recreation practices to minimize our impact on the fishery.

To encourage responsible angling during times of high water temperatures, we developed a free water temperature alert program. Subscribers receive daily emails regarding temperature trends and projected high temperatures throughout the watershed so they can make plans accordingly.

Please note, it is the user’s responsibility to be aware of fishing closures that may be in place affecting local waterways. See here for a map of current closures.
