The Eagle River Coalition (ERC) is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to our Board of Directors: Chris Cohen, Brad Ernest, Rob Foster, Ben Gaieski and John Widerman. “We are lucky to have found such qualified and passionate community leaders to join us in our mission to be the voice of the rivers,” said Vicki Flynn, executive director of the Eagle River Coalition.

These new members bring years of experience in environmental education, finance, real estate, human resources, angling and local government. Their varying backgrounds provide a wide range of new skills to our diverse team passionate about protecting the Eagle River Watershed.

Board members serve for 3-year terms and are eligible for reelection to a second term. They ensure that resources are available for ERC’s success, provide oversight alongside the executive director and establish the overarching strategy of the organization. Board members serve on committees such as Projects and Programs, Development, Events, and Governance, helping ERC pursue its mission.

The Eagle River Coalition protects rivers in the Eagle River Watershed through education, monitoring, restoration and advocacy, elevating both the quality and the supply of our community’s most essential resource: water.
