Eagle Valley’s population is projected to double in 35 years to more than 100,000 people. Although we all welcome these anticipated newcomers, many of us worry about the impacts to our natural resources. Now you can help. Together Eagle Valley Land Trust and Eagle River Coalition have created a mechanism that benefits land and river conservation in our community – the Land & Rivers Fund.
Eagle Valley Land Trust and Eagle River Coalition together are Eagle County’s only nonprofits exclusively focused on conserving and protecting rivers and open spaces for the benefit of the community. Through the Land & Rivers Fund, we help local businesses to establish and promote the program to their customers and clients who voluntarily participate by making a donation with their purchase.

Funds collected help promote and restore healthy rivers, clean water, conscientious development, preservation of open space, wildlife and fish habitat, agriculture, water rights and economic diversity throughout the valley.
Bergen Tjossem, of Eagle Valley Land Trust, and Melanie Smith, of Eagle River Coalition, are thrilled to announce that Dave Budniakiewicz and Brandon Hill have agreed for their business, Eagle River Outfitter, to join the program.
Eagle River Outfitter is a local guide service that leads professional, permitted angling outings on the Eagle River, with a focus on providing an enjoyable, inspiring, and inclusive experience for anyone wanting to spend the day out on the water, from beginner to expert. With more than 25 years of experience, Dave, Brandon, and their guides allow their passion for the outdoors and for conservation shine in each trip they guide.

From their website:
Eagle River Outfitter provides guided fly fishing guided trips primarily on the Eagle River in the central Rockies of Colorado. We monitor that river daily to determine the best fishing spots for our clients for any given day.
We fish with people of all ages, genders, and experience levels, often just minutes from most resorts in the Vail Valley, from Beaver Creek to Vail.
Avid local fisherman? Let us show you some secret spots and share some local fishing tips and stories. Are you new to the sport? When you book that full-day excursion with us, we’ll make sure you leave feeling like you can handle whatever comes next on your own.
Thank you, Dave and Brandon – may your lines stay tight!
