Time: The project will take place 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Location: Nottingham Park, Avon, CO

Project Basics: We are seeking volunteers to build a gravel path, doing general fall maintenance of an established perennial garden, and applying sheet mulch, all in an effort to maintain an existing waterwise garden in Nottingham Park. By working with volunteers, Town of Avon, CSU Extension, and Beyond Lawn we look forward to continuing to maintain this beautiful garden. 

Important Notes: Please be prepared to work on your hands and knees in the dirt in both sun and light rain, as weather tends to fluctuate. We recommend wearing long pants, close-toed shoes, long sleeves, sunglasses, and a full-coverage hat. You may bring your own work gloves, however we will have extras of gloves and tools. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Light snacks, sunscreen, and water will be provided.
